The Management brings deep experience from its involvement in the following Project logistics:
- Introduced container feeder services from Bombay to Khorfakkan, including full agency, stuffing & logistics operations to connect MLOs to UK & European destinations. Generating 400 TEUs per voyage using a flat-bottomed vessel, with a regular 10-day turnaround.
- Charter of 700 DWT ship for 2 years to ship onions from Bombay to Sharjah, every 9 days.
- Initiated a regular monthly breakbulk shipping service from Kolkata to West Asia Gulf ports, handling exports of jute goods, tea, foodstuff, and engineering products.
- Launched a weekly container service from Kolkata via Colombo & Singapore to tranship onto MLO vessels bound for Europe, UK, ANZ, Japan & SEA. Served exporters of tea, foodstuff, jute, wool, mica, CI & engineering goods.
- Developed a niche shipping route between India and East Africa, offering containerised services beyond seaports to inland destinations.
- Managed the transport of 700 km, 24-inch Dia gas pipes (each 12m), total of 375000 FRT over 18 chartered shiploads from Kobe to Kuantan to Salalah. Included ship charters, ship discharge, staging & marshalling, crane handling & 4400 trailer trips over 14 months.
- Logistics for 380000 FRT via containers and breakbulk for a greenfield LNG plant in Oman. Included duty-exempt import documentation and barging of IWD units over 2 years.
- Handled 50000 FRT of cargo from South Korea for a dry-dock ship repair facility at Duqm Port, including duty-exempt formalities, de-stuffing, handling, & transport from Muscat.
- Opened new Indian hinterlands, offering Origin-to-Destination multi-modal services ~ overland transport, shipping & through Bill-of-Ladings. Converted traditional breakbulk items (mica, glass sheets, wool, jute rolls, aluminium ingots) to containerized cargo.
- Managed complete logistics of two Indian power plants in Madhya Pradesh & Budge Budge ~ full material, IWD units – shipping, documentation, barging & transport from Kolkata.
